180 SAFE RIDE - Ft. Myers to Sarasota

The ride from Ft. Myers to Sarasota saw the team make good time and push hard into the wind nearly the whole way. The team has been getting stronger and stronger. Most of the ride was up US 41, and there was plenty of stop-go traffic as the route passed through many downtown areas with the associated traffic lights.

The end point of the ride was at Village Bikes, and the welcome was great with many members of the cycling community coming out to greet Sarasota riders Shawn, Michelle, and Valeria.

The team is definitely on the tail end of the 2007 180 SAFE Ride with just 2 days to go!
